  1. Turn right along the Highstreet to a small lane on the left. Turn left and follow the lane pass the Rose and Crown Inn.

  2. After the Rose and Crown Inn keep right and then pass the entrance to the playing fields. Continue along the main track to a point where a footpath crosses, turn left here through a kissing gate.

  3. Having gone through the kissing gate, continue forward, heading diagonally across the field to a small gate in the far right-hand corner. Go through the small gate into the woodland and then follow the path through the woodland to a footbridge.

  4. Cross over the footbridge into a field and then bear right to another footbridge in the corner of the field.

  5. Having crossed this footbridge continue forward with the hedge on the left to a stile on your left. Cross over the stile and then turn right, continuing with the hedge on your right to a bridge over the river.

  6. Having crossed the bridge, turn right following the river to the field corner. At the field corner turn left and continue to follow the edge of the field to a gateway.

  7. Go through the gateway and continue straight across the field keeping the fence on your left to a stile.

  8. Turn left over the stile and then continue with the hedge on the left, to a kissing gate. Go through the kissing gate and then turn right to continue uphill, following the right-hand edge of the field to a railway crossing.

  9. Cross the railway and then turn right to a small gate. Go through the gate and continue in the same direction with the railway on the right through two fields.

Turn right and then keeping the river on the left continue to pass through a gateway into the next field. After passing through the gateway bear right, away from the river and continue uphill to the far right hand corner of the field.
