Refreshments: Robertsbridge. Seven Stars Inn, The George Inn and The Ostrich Hotel.

This walk is probably best in the summer months as the route into Robertsbridge is through the Rother flood plains and can be wet and muddy during the winter. The walk leaves Burwash through the Church yard and then continues through meadows before a short walk along Fontridge Lane to Squibs Farm. From Squibs Farm it is almost a level walk along the Rother valley to Robertsbridge. A number of shops are passed on the walk along Robertsbridge High Street to the station. From Robertsbridge station the Walk goes across fields and through woodland to Socknersh Manor, once owned by Tom Jones. From Socknersh Manor the walk crosses the Dudwell valley back to Burwash Church yard.
